Garlic Herb Butter Corn

Each ear of corn is brushed with a delectable butter that is infused with garlic and cooked on the grill to bring out a robust flavor.

Two ears of corn with garlic herb butter

 Ingredients:

  •  5 ears of corn on the cob, husk and silk strands removed
  • ½ cup of shredded or grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 cup of unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 Tbs. minced garlic
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • ¼ cup of Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. parsley
  • 1 tsp. lemon zest

 Instructions:

 Garlic Herb Butter:

  1. Combined softened butter, Parmesan cheese, and minced garlic into a bowl and combine well.
  2. Mix in garlic salt, lemon juice and parsley.
  3. Add lemon zest to top.

 Garlic Herb Butter Corn:

  1.  Preheat your grill to 450°F (medium-high heat).
  2. Spread 1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons of garlic herb butter on each ear of corn.
  3. Wrap each ear of corn individually in aluminum foil, twisting the ends to ensure they are sealed tightly.
  4. Place the foil-wrapped corn directly on the grill grate. Grill the corn, turning a 1/4 turn every two minutes, for 8 minutes.
  5. Carefully unwrap each ear of corn from the foil and place them directly back on the grill. Grill the corn for an additional 2-3 minutes, turning once, until lightly charred.
  6. While the corn is grilling, melt the remaining garlic herb butter.
  7. Brush or drizzle the melted butter over the grilled corn. Immediately sprinkle each ear of corn with Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper to taste. Serve the garlic herb butter corn immediately while hot.
