Quick Mushroom Sauce

Drizzle this mushroom sauce over your favorite cut of grilled steak to give it a more robust flavor. 

Mushroom sauce

 Ingredients: 

  • 10 oz chopped, minced mushrooms 
  • 3 T olive oil 
  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste 
  • 2 T flour 
  • 1 ½ cup low-sodium beef broth 
  • 1 T Worcestershire sauce 
  • 2/3 cup sour cream 
  • 1 tsp. parsley

 Instructions: 

  1. Heat olive oil over medium heat in saucepan. Add mushrooms. 
  2. When mushrooms are tender, lower heat and stir in flour, broth and Worcestershire sauce slowly. 
  3. Next stir in sour cream until well combined. 
  4. Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste. 
  5. Garnish with parsley.
