Filet Mignon with Porcini Mushroom Sauce

Steak night elevated with filet mignon and a delicious porcini mushroom sauce.

  • 4 Signature Filet Mignons
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 oz dried Porcini Mushrooms
  • pinch of rosemary
  • pinch of thyme
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • Salt & Pepper


  1. Season filets with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Cook on hot grill until internal temperature reaches 120 F
  3. Transfer to hot cast iron pan to sear, cook to desired internal temperature
  4. For the sauce, combine all other ingredients in a pot and let simmer 5 minutes before blending until smooth.
  5. If needed, to help thicken the sauce, stir in 1/4 cup of water mixed with flour.
