These steak fries with a hint of brown sugar are incredibly flavorful on the outside and perfectly tender on the inside.
Ingredients:
- 2 large sweet potatoes or yams
- ¼ lb butter
- Brown sugar
- Salt
- Fresh ground black pepper
Instructions:
- Cut the potatoes lengthwise an 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick.
- Melt the butter in the microwave.
- Brush the butter onto the potatoes to soften.
- Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the potatoes and then dust them generously with brown sugar.
- Spread the slices out on a piece of foil and then cover them with another piece of foil.
- Preheat the grill to medium high heat. Grill for about 30 minutes or until slices get soft.
