Warm and buttery Yorkshire pudding may look intimidating to make, but it's incredibly easy and only calls for standard pantry ingredients to create an impressive result.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup + 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 4 medium eggs
- 3/4 cup + 1 tbsp skim milk
- 6 tsp beef dripping or butter
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Instructions:
- Place the flour into a large bowl and make a well in the center.
- Add the eggs to the well and whisk together, bringing the flour into the well with the eggs a little bit at a time.
- Add in the milk and combine with whisk. Texture may be a bit lumpy which is okay!
- Place the bowl in the refrigerator for a minimum of 30 minutes to chill.
- Preheat the oven to 425°.
- Add ½ tsp of the beef drippings or butter to each cup in a muffin tin.
- Place in oven and heat for 10 minutes.
- Remove your batter from the refrigerator and add in salt and pepper, combining with a whisk.
- Remove muffin tin from oven with the melted drippings/butter and pour batter into each muffin cup.
- Place the tin back into the oven and bake for 15 to 18 minutes until risen and golden.
