Yorkshire Pudding

Warm and buttery Yorkshire pudding may look intimidating to make, but it's incredibly easy and only calls for standard pantry ingredients to create an impressive result.

Yorkshire Pudding

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup + 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 4 medium eggs
  • 3/4 cup + 1 tbsp skim milk
  • 6 tsp beef dripping or butter
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions:

  • Place the flour into a large bowl and make a well in the center.
  • Add the eggs to the well and whisk together, bringing the flour into the well with the eggs a little bit at a time.
  • Add in the milk and combine with whisk. Texture may be a bit lumpy which is okay!
  • Place the bowl in the refrigerator for a minimum of 30 minutes to chill.
  • Preheat the oven to 425°.
  • Add ½ tsp of the beef drippings or butter to each cup in a muffin tin.
  • Place in oven and heat for 10 minutes.
  • Remove your batter from the refrigerator and add in salt and pepper, combining with a whisk.
  • Remove muffin tin from oven with the melted drippings/butter and pour batter into each muffin cup.
  • Place the tin back into the oven and bake for 15 to 18 minutes until risen and golden.
